About our pastor

I am Barry Brock pastor of Hill City Baptist. My wife Patricia and I have been married 37 years. God brought Patricia and I here 4 years ago after pastoring my previous church for 16 years. We have two grown children (Chuck and Dana). Chuck is married to Cary and they have 3 children Carter, Caylee, and Colby. Dana also has three children Ella, Lana, and Abram. My wife and family God gave me are the joy of my life after God. The order I believe God has taught from his word the Bible.

 

I retired from education 3 years ago after 30 years as a technology specialist. Also I have a BA in theology from Messianic School of Theology. We have been in ministry most of our married life. Which started as a youth minister 35 years ago working in 5 different churches in the Whitfield and Gordon county area and Pastoring the last 20 years.

 

I alway knew God has put a pastors heart in me. We now pastor the greatest church I know. Hill City Baptist is a place God brought us. They are a loving caring congregation who has a passion for God, family, and church.
